All of the photos to the left were shot on location in the community of Ispani. The community of Ispani encompasses the small medieval towns of Ispani, san Cristoforo and Capitello.This community is the actual place that was attacked by the Saracen Pirates in 1532.

Most of the buildings in the re-enactment scenes are from the time period of the attack.  

Many of the local extras used in the scenes are descendents of survivors from pirate attacks.

The beach is on the shore of the Gulf of Policastro in the Tyherranian Sea.

Director Tony Schweikle has lived in the hills above this beach for 6 years.
